Denture Aftercare Services
If you’ve been recently fitted with new dentures, congratulations! You’re on the way to greater comfort and a healthier mouth.
We understand that your first month or two with dentures can be confusing and uncertain. It’s normal to have a little bit of soreness and inflammation as your mouth adjusts to your new dental appliances.
Here at the Denture & Implant Centre, we want your transition to dentures to be as smooth and easy as possible. We offer several aftercare services to make this a reality.
Aftercare Services For New Dentures
Once your dentures have been made and you’ve been through the final insertion, you’ll want to schedule an appointment about a week later.
We keep detailed notes throughout the entire denture fitting process. At your first checkup, we can review your case and make sure your dentures are fitted exactly to your needs. You might have a hotspot or pressure point that we can easily adjust so you’re comfortable.
You might have a few questions after your first week with dentures. Even if they fit perfectly, we encourage you to come in and have a discussion to resolve any concerns you may have.
Complete Dentures
Included in the cost of your Complete Denture service is up to 3 months of post insertion adjustments. Within the first three months, you’re welcome to schedule an appointment to get minor adjustments and small fit alterations.
You’ll also receive 1 year of service on the base of your dentures. In the unfortunate event of an accident, the base of your dentures is covered.
Complex Dentures
In addition to the digital jaw record and precision fit included our Complex Denture service, we also extend the aftercare service periods.
If you require any adjustments to your fit, you can schedule an appointment anytime within the first year at no cost to you. This is great because your mouth may go through a few changes over time as it gets used to dentures.
Under the Complex Denture program, the base of your dentures is covered for 5 years. Accidents happen and we want your dentures to work for you as long as possible.
